Timothée Chalamet is seemingly responding to the rumors that the viral masked rapper EsDeeKid is his alter ego.

The Oscar nominee, who turns 30 on Dec. 27, appears rapping alongside the anonymous Liverpool-based hip-hop star in the official video for the EsDeeKid’s new track “4 Raws Remix,” released Dec. 19.

In the clip, which both entertainers shared to Instagram, the duo dress in EsDeeKid’s uniform of hoodies and bandanas that carefully obscure his face. Together, they rap the song’s lyrics while dancing inside a convenience store.

At one point, Chalamet pulls his hoodie away from his face to rap a few boastful verses that refer to both his Hollywood career and his real-life girlfriend Kylie Jenner, whose billionaire status has made headlines.

“It’s Timothée Chalamet chillin’, tryin’ to stack $100 million / Girl got a billion / What the f—, what a wonderful feeling,” he raps.

He later adds, “My life is an opera, look at the Oscars, look at the groupies, look at the movies.”

The Oscar nominee also name-checks his new movie “Marty Supreme” multiple times throughout the song.

Who Is EsDeeKid and Why Do People Think He’s Timothée Chalamet’s Alter Ego?

EsDeeKid is an English rapper from Liverpool who is known for not revealing his face. Keeping his identity a secret, only his eyes are shown behind a mask and hoodie.

Rumors about Chalamet being the secret identity of EsDeeKid began soon after the rapper’s debut album “Rebel” arrived in June.

People online have also noticed the resemblance between both of the artists’ eyes.

“Those are Chalament eyes,” Willie Geist said during the Dec. 17 Today with Jenna & Friends episode, with Jenna Bush Hager adding, “That looks like Chalamet’s eyes.”

At the time, they both agreed it was the actor, while Rachel Smith did not think they were the same person.

When Chalamet was directly asked to confirm the rumors during a Dec. 11 interview on the British radio program “Heart Breakfast,” the actor played coy.

“All will be revealed in due time,” he teased.

As people get more answers (and continue to be confused), both he and a tagged EsDeeKid also appeared together in a photo shared by artist Archie Erskine on Instagram following the release of their song.

Chalamet, however, is known for his ties to music, portraying Bob Dylan in last year’s “A Complete Unknown” and singing in “Wonka.” The actor has also previously adopted a persona to perform as a rapper.

In a viral video from 2012, the actor can be seen rapping under the moniker Lil Timmy Tim at an event at his then-high school, LaGuardia High School in New York City.

He’s also poked fun at his former rapper self in a couple of “Saturday Night Live” sketches.
