The first round of the College Football Playoff continued in Oxford Saturday afternoon. Tulane headed to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to take on a new-look Ole Miss team.
The Rebels kicked off a new era with the matchup, which is Pete Golding’s first game as head coach. He officially replaced Lane Kiffin earlier this month following his high-profile departure for LSU. On the Tulane side, Jon Sumrall will lead the Green Wave through the CFP before heading to Florida.
