Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green will miss “two-to-three” more weeks as he continues to work his way back from a right hamstring strain, the team announced on Monday.
The Suns said Green “continues to make good progress,” and he was recently re-evaluated. The team said Green will next be evaluated in two-to-three weeks.
“Still great progress,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said at practice on Monday. “I think everything’s headed in the right direction. Everything seems to be good.”
The 23-year-old guard acquired in the offseason from Houston in the Kevin Durant trade suffered a hamstring injury that has limited him to 30 minutes of court time over two games this season.
Green missed the first eight games of 2025-26 and first appeared on Nov. 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers. He scored 29 points in just 23 minutes.
Two days later, he started against the Clippers but left after reinjuring his hamstring seven minutes in.
The team put a 4-6 week return timeline in place after the aggravation, which Phoenix is at the longer side of as the end of the year approaches.
Phoenix next plays Tuesday night at home against the Los Angeles Lakers.
