Actress Helen Siff, with more than 70 acting credits in various television shows, died from surgery complications Thursday.

LOS ANGELES — Helen Siff, an actress who appeared in multiple shows spanning decades, has died. She was 88. 

Siff played various characters in shows like “Will and Grace,” “Modern Family,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Her latest work was in 2023 when she played a “saloon waitress” in “High Desert.” 

Her family told The Hollywood Reporter she died in Los Angeles on Thursday of complications from surgery for a “long, painful illness.”

“Those who worked with Helen knew her not just as a talented performer, but as someone who brought professionalism, dedication and genuine kindness to every set,” they said. “She understood that every role, no matter how large or small, was an opportunity to contribute something meaningful to the story being told.”

Siff had 72 credits to her name, according to her IMDb profile.
