Jason Bateman spilled his secret to a long Hollywood marriage, explaining to Esquire that his wife of 24 years, Amanda Anka, started as a close pal — and has luckily remained one.
“I married a friend as opposed to a girlfriend, that was a big one for me,” he said. “You break up with girlfriends, [but] I found I didn’t break up with my friends.”

“Since I only wanted to get married once,” Jason said, “I thought, ‘Find someone I’m sexually attracted to that’s also a friend’… She said yes and we haven’t looked back.”
