Jason Kelce is opening up about how fame is impacting his family of six.
The retired NFL star, 38, recently chatted with Wall Street Journal, where he talked about how his increased fame is affecting his family life with his wife Kylie Kelce and their four children. Jason shared that he believes he’s more famous now than when he was in the NFL, making it harder to live a normal life.
“I’m all over television, and my face, in particular, is much more out there. In a lot of ways, going out into public is much different for not just me but my wife, my whole family,” he said. “But we really do try to live as much of a normal life as we can, which is increasingly becoming harder.”
“We’re finding ways to get it done,” he added. “We go to Disney World and we’re still walking around. We might take a few more pictures in certain areas.”

The former Philadelphia Eagles center and the Not Gonna Lie podcaster, 33, share four daughters together — Finnley, 8 months, Bennett, 2, Elliotte, 4, and Wyatt, 6. During a recent episode of New Heights, which Jason hosts alongside his brother Travis Kelce, the dad of four opened up about his and Kylie’s approach to parenting.
“We’re on the same page almost all the time,” Jason said of himself and Kylie. “We’re both pretty disciplinarian when it comes to the girls.”
But Jason admitted that he came into being a girl dad at a disadvantage, joking, “The only girl I grew up with is Travis, so this is new territory.”
“When I first found out I was having Wyatt, I was like, ‘Okay. I’m not gonna raise her any different than how I would raise a boy. Like, I’m gonna make her tough and disciplined, and I’m not gonna be like this, like, daddy’s daughter who’s getting everything she wants,’ ” Jason recalled.
“Then the moment she came out, it was very hard to not be that dad… it is very difficult when they look at me a certain way to not cave, like, instantaneously.”
As for his wife, whom he married in 2018, Jason said Kylie “is better at resisting that than I am, a 100%.” However, he noted that he refuses to cave when the topic is deemed important enough.
“I’ll cave for, like, a treat or, like, something innocuous,” he explained. “But if it’s, like, either being selfish or mean or lying… we’re not gonna put up with this, I’ll for sure put my foot down.”

Despite needing to lay down the law sometimes, Jason is always sharing sweet moments with his girls on the podcast. Recently, he revealed his top music genre for the year on Spotify had a nod to his youngest daughter.
On the Wednesday, Dec. 10 episode of New Heights, Jason shared the sweet reason the doo-wop genre topped his 2025 Spotify Wrapped. The podcaster said that he sings doo-wop songs to his daughter Finnley to get her to stop crying.
“My top genre is doo-wop,” he told Travis. “So doo-wop is more because I sing a lot of doo-wop songs to Finny. For some reason, she stops crying when I sing like Fleetwoods and some of the like doo-wop music from back in the day.”
