A woman has died after a shooting at a senior living facility in Walnut Hills on Tuesday night.Cincinnati police said officers were called to the 2600 block of Park Avenue, at the Park Eden building, for a report of shots fired around 6:30 p.m.Police said a woman was found dead in a hallway of the building with a gunshot wound. Wednesday, police identified the woman as Tekeya McCollum, 31.Police had no information on a possible suspect in the shooting and said the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident. The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case.The shooting was the second at the Park Eden building in less than a week. One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting inside last Thursday.The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority said someone was arrested in that shooting, but police have not released any information about a suspect at this time.Police said they do not know if the two shootings are connected.”There’s been a few shootings over here in this area. I don’t know what’s going on but whatever it is, I hope that we can get a hand on it and turn this thing around, because we’re talking about lives,” community advocate Mitch Morris said.
