nees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Mayen-Gumel area of Kuajok, Warrap State.
Since April 2023, more than 750,000 refugees from Sudan have fled to neighbouring South Sudan. This includes civilians who had already been displaced once when the outbreak of conflict in South-Sudan had forced them to flee to Sudan in the last decade.
The distribution provided essential relief to people displaced by conflict in Sudan and internal violence in South Sudan. The food items included sorghum, beans, cooking oil, salt and energy biscuits. The essential household items were kitchen sets, blankets, buckets, plastic sheets, mosquito nets, soap, sleeping mats and dignity kits for women and girls. Kuajok, South Sudan.
