An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck the Tibet region in the early hours of Sunday, December 28, according to seismic data. The tremor occurred at around 4:51 am IST at a depth of 10 kilometres, with its epicentre located at latitude 35.30°N and longitude 88.77°E. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage following the quake.
