Magic vs Raptors best bet: Anthony Black Over 27.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105)
The Orlando Magic saw a bright future for Anthony Black when they drafted him with the sixth pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, and lately, he’s shown he’s ready for more than a bench role.
Black came through for Orlando with 38 points against the Nuggets on Saturday, taking the scoring burden off Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane, and the door is wide open for another monster stat line.
While a repeat of that kind of points total is unlikely, I love the Over on this combo prop. He’s gone past this number in five straight games, and now he faces a Toronto Raptors team that went to overtime yesterday.

Black has chipped in with 20+ points in five of his last six outings, with his field goal attempts trending up, and he’s shooting a respectable 37% from beyond the arc.
However, his work on the glass shouldn’t be overlooked. Black is one of the NBA’s best rebounders at the guard position, and he’s grabbed 6+ boards in nine of his 12 contests this month. Don’t be surprised if he ends up with another nice haul, especially with Jakob Poeltl still sidelined for Toronto.
The shorthanded Magic will turn to Black to initiate plenty of possessions, and I expect his impact to show up all over the box score tonight.

The Magic are just 5-5 in their last 10 outings, but they’ve got the rest advantage in their favor, and there were some exciting signs in the win over Denver at the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have struggled in the second game of back-to-back sets, losing five of their past six contests in this spot. The hosts will also be without RJ Barrett as Toronto eases him back into action.
Immanuel Quickley’s sharpshooting helped the Raptors escape with a W against the Warriors, but I’m targeting his assists prop tonight. He’s averaging 6.5 assists per game in December, and he’s dished 7+ dimes in five of his last six outings. Toronto will need his drive-and-kick game to crack open this Orlando defense.
