The Boston Celtics will make the trip to Salt Lake City’s Delta Center arena to face off with the Utah Jazz this Tuesday (Dec. 30) night. The Celtics will be looking to get back in the win column after dropping a road game to a Western Conference ball club that snapped their recent four-game win streak.

The Jazz front office — helmed by former Boston President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge — may be looking for improved lottery odds as an outcome, but the Celtics can’t afford to take Utah lightly in this stretch of easier contests. We expect a Boston win, but there is always a chance the Jazz can steal a win if the Celtics disrespect their opponent.

Records, standing, and streaks

At present, the Celtics have an 19-12 record coming into tonight’s contest after winning their last four games. That is good enough for third in the Eastern Conference standings.
