VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – A Venice homeowner was surprised when they found a boa constrictor hiding in their back yard recently.
Seth Brattain, of Sleth Reptiles Wildlife Removal, posted a video of the tightly-coiled snake being removed from under a tire.
“Just removed a Colombian red tail boa from somebody’s backyard and a pile of tires in Venice, Florida, about 4 feet long!” his social media post said.
“Absolutely crazy that I keep finding these species down here! Especially this far, north. They just found a 17-foot Burmese Python, about 10 minutes south of here.”
