After the Denver Broncos‘ 20-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17, it was a bittersweet time for Chiefs legendary tight end Travis Kelce, who very well could have played his last snap at Arrowhead Stadium against Denver.

After the game, many Broncos players took the opportunity to embrace Kelce, who has long been a thorn in the side of Denver and 30 other franchises around the NFL.

Kelce took the opportunity to seek out Broncos quarterback Bo Nix after the TNF win, and he had a message for the second-year starter.

“Bo, what’s up baby,” said Kelce, as he dapped up Nix. “You’re a hell of a competitor, man. Love playing against you, every single time, dog. Do your thing, baby, alright? Go get you one (a Super Bowl), man.”

Nix embraced Kelce and expressed gratitude for the message. “I appreciate it, man,” said Nix to Kelce. Kelce has a documented respect for Nix dating back to 2024, when Nix and the Broncos very nearly stole a win in Arrowhead, if not for a blocked field goal.
