DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A sheriff’s office vehicle was involved in a crash on Thursday, according to Sheriff Michael August with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

August said the deputy was sitting at a stop sign and hit by another vehicle.

Video sent in by a viewer shows the crash at the corner of High Hill Road and Hoffmeyer Road.

The deputy was treated for minor injuries and has been released from the hospital, according to August.
