Soap Opera Network has reported the ratings for the week of December 8-12, 2025. As has been the case recently, the numbers are a bit all over the place with little consistency from week to week. Let’s get into it.

The Young and the Restless (2.841 million total viewers/1.8 rating) took a HUGE week to week hit losing 151,000 total viewers. The perennial number one daytime drama was also down amongst women 18-49 but ticked up with women 25-54. The CBS sudser featured stories focused on Adam (Mark Grossman) asking Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to dig up Abbott dirt and Sienna (Tamara Braun) arriving in Genoa City and receiving an icy welcome from the Newman family.

The Bold and the Beautiful (2.569 million total viewers/1.6 rating) dropped week to week but not as much as Y&R losing 63,000 total viewers. One upside for the CBS sudser is a return to a tie with Y&R with women 18-49 and a slight gain amongst women 25-54. For the week, B&B featured stories focused on Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) desire to put Eric (John McCook) out to pasture and the fourth wedding of Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton).

General Hospital (1.883 million total viewers/1.2) took a downward turn in the ratings after being up in total viewers and key demos the week before. The lone ABC sudser dropped a tiny 13,000 total viewers and was down in both key demos. GH featured stories focused on Carly (Laura Wright) keeping Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) hidden and the PCPD targeting Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) link to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) being related to Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) attempted murder.

Beyond The Gates (1.599 million total viewers/1.0 rating) posted some modest gains for the week. The newest daytime drama was the only show to gain total viewers for the week (up 6,000 total viewers) and topped GH amongst women 25-54. BTG featured stories focused on the debut of Kial (Greg Vaughan) as Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) new love interest and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) collapsing and Hayley (Marquita Goings) slapping him back to life.
