Fort Smith Police are investigating a double shooting in the 2800 block of Independence Street.According to a press release, the shooting resulted in the death 48-year-old Mark Bell and 46-year-old Deevelyn Bell. Police said their bodies have been sent to the state crime lab. Police said there is no risk to the public, but they are asking residents to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
