GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — When a bunny’s life was on the line, one Gilbert park ranger stepped in for an unlikely rescue.
On Dec. 30, 2025, Antonio Espinoza called the Gilbert Park Rangers office after a bunny got trapped in the driver’s side fender of his vehicle.
Espinoza said Ranger Tim Galloway came straight to the rescue at the Southeast Regional Library.
“Throughout the entire interaction, he was extremely professional, calm, and compassionate. He went above and beyond by providing the necessary tools and taking the time and care required to ensure the animal was freed without harm,” Epsinoza said.
He said Ranger Galloway went above and beyond his usual job description to help safely free the bunny. Thank you, Ranger Galloway!
