A new picture of Tatiana Schlossberg enjoying life with her family has been released.
On Monday, January 5, the JFK Library Foundation shared a family photo of the late environmental journalist smiling with her husband George Moran, and their two children, son Edwin and daughter Josephine, just three months before her tragic passing.
In the candid shot — which, according to People, was taken at Martha’s Vineyard in September — the family is sitting on the grass outside in the sunlight.
The post also included a snap of an excerpt from Schlossberg’s 2019 book Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don’t Know You Have.
“As we remember Tatiana and celebrate her life, our hearts are with her family and all who loved her,” the post was captioned, with photo credit given to Elizabeth Cecil.

In her November essay for The New Yorker, Schlossberg revealed that she had been diagnosed with a terminal form of acute myeloid leukemia after giving birth to her second child.
In her piece, Schlossberg shared that she was trying to be in the moment, soaking up the time she had left with her children.
“Mostly, I try to live and be with them now. But being in the present is harder than it sounds, so I let the memories come and go,” Schlossberg wrote. “So many of them are from my childhood that I feel as if I’m watching myself and my kids grow up at the same time.”
