West Ham United are in discussions to bring a left winger admired by Jose Mourinho back to the Premier League.
Despite signing Pablo and Taty Castellanos, the Hammers want to add to their ranks in the final third to help them avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo is also under pressure at West Ham, and would welcome reinforcements to bolster the side for the final months of the season.

It has been claimed that West Ham have discussed the possibility of bringing the former Tottenham left winger back to London this month.
The 28-year-old spent two seasons at Spurs before he left for Ajax and then Al Ittihad.
He has done well at both clubs since his Premier League stint and is now being linked with a return to the United Kingdom.

What has been said about Bergwijn?
Bergwijn was at Tottenham when Jose Mourinho was in charge, and the self-proclaimed “Special One” was delighted with the club signing him.
He joined at a time when Christian Eriksen left, and the pressure was on right from the get-go for him to deliver.
Mourinho was pleased with his potential to develop and was amazed by how well he had adapted to the Lilywhites.
He said: “We got a very good player in Steven. An incredible, exciting prospect is coming. I would say, ‘Very very good’.”

Should West Ham succeed in signing Bergwijn, it would mean that there are plans for Lucas Paqueta to leave.
The Brazil international has not had the best of seasons at the London Stadium and has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Relegation would significantly reduce his value, and with him not playing well, it would be the ideal time to cash in on the 28-year-old.
Bergwijn is a player who would love playing for the Hammers and would give it his all to keep them in the Premier League.
