WNBA star Angel Reese continues to make moves off the court. The Chicago Sky forward has transcended the sport and become a fashion figure. For instance, Reese walked down the runway during October Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
She is adding more ventures to her portfolio, and the latest includes one of her favorite brands. Daniela Morosi of Business of Fashion reported on Wednesday that skincare brand Topicals announced Reese and Nigerian singer Rema invested in the company.

“Skincare brand Topicals announced on Wednesday it has closed a round of funding with participation from the WNBA star Angel Reese and the Nigerian singer Rema, as well as other figures from the entertainment and sports industries.”
Founder and chief executive Olamide Olowe said that she wanted people who know the company and actually use the products to invest. She added that a cultural leader like Angel Reese would make a big impact on the way others see Black-owned businesses.
“Investors are pulling back their belief in Black-owned … businesses. We are really proud that other people who have capital in the culture want [our kind of business] to grow,” she said.

Topicals has raised over $22.6 million since its launch in 2020. The brand is famous for its viral $22 under-eye masks and $38 Faded Serum. Both products target dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
This isn’t the first time Reese has been involved with a beauty brand. She signed an ambassador deal with Mielle Organics. The deal includes Reese’s image used for the brand’s marketing, social media, events and a limited-edition product bundle.
