Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville singled out Manchester United summer signing Benjamin Sesko during the Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday evening.
Benjamin Sesko led the attacking frontline for Manchester United in the Red Devils’ first Premier League match in the post-Ruben Amorim era of the club.
Ruben Amorim was sacked as United head coach on Monday morning and Darren Fletcher was installed as caretaker manager for the trip to Turf Moor.

Darren Fletcher pivoted away from the contentious tactical system of Ruben Amorim and Sesko had a major impact for the Red Devils in Wednesday’s clash.
Burnley took the lead in the opening 15 minutes after a major deflection from Ayden Heaven saw the ball beat Senne Lammens and land in the back of the United net.
However, Sesko injected his influence early into the second half at Turf Moor and the 22-year-old Slovenian netted United’s equaliser in the 50th minute of the tie.

Following his equaliser in the second half, Benjamin Sesko netted a stunning second only 10 minutes later to complete his brace and put Manchester United 2-1 up.
But Sesko’s hard work was undone only six minutes later after Jaidon Anthony made a superb impact in the final third and netted the all-important equaliser for Burnley.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville highlighted that striker Sesko was ‘smiling’ more than he had ever done before since his move to United last summer.

“Bingo time for Benjamin Sesko,” he told Sky Sports after the brace, as per BBC Sport.
“We’ve not seen him smile much and his teammates are revelling in it with him.
“He’s got in between centre-backs all night and he does it again. That’s a really good finish.
“Manchester United have been really good in this second half.”

Benjamin Sesko receives a much-needed boost in confidence after his Man Utd brace against Burnley
Sesko had been suffering from a Red Devils goalscoring drought since last October, with the striker scoring in United’s 2-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League.
The Slovenia international scored for the first time for the Red Devils in September 2025, with Sesko finding the back of the net in United’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford.
While United might only have walked away with a point from the Burnley match, Sesko walked away with a massive boost in confidence for his goalscoring form.
The former Red Bull Salzburg striker has netted four times and picked up one assist in 17 Premier League matches in his debut season at Old Trafford.
