ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A new mural honoring Margaret “Midge” Thomas has been completed in downtown Rochester at the Abilene Bar and Lounge.
Artist Shawnee Hill said the mural pays tribute to Thomas, who has served the Rochester community by helping domestic violence victims and assisting refugees in finding housing.
The celebration marking the mural’s completion is scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
