TUCSON (13 News) – Brayden Burries scored 28 points, and Motiejus Krivas added 25 points as top-ranked Arizona cruised to an easy 101-76 win over Kansas State at the McKale Center Wednesday night.
Koa Peat added a double-double for Arizona (15-0, 2-0) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Krivas also had a double-double with 12 rebounds, and Burries just missed the party with nine rebounds.
PJ Haggerty led Kansas State (9-6) with 19 points, and Nate Johnson scored 15 points.
Arizona outrebounded Kansas State 52-26 and was 30-for-39 from the free-throw line.
Arizona travels to play TCU on Saturday before hosting Arizona State next Wednesday.
