The Red Sox aren’t the only team with their eyes on Bo Bichette.

The Philadelphia Phillies will meet with the free agent infielder “in the coming days,” The Athletic reported on Thursday.

The Phillies have “legitimate” interest in Bichette, but the Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs have also been linked to the 27-year-old. The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers could also be suitors for Bichette.

However, should the Phillies sign Bichette, they would need to rearrange their roster and likely need to move on from J.T. Realmuto and Alec Bohm.

The Phillies retained Kyle Schwarber this winter when they signed him to a five-year, $150 million deal. Adding Bichette would give Philadelphia another bat as well as versatility in the infield if needed.

MLB Network’s Jon Heyman reported that Bichette’s asking price is thought to be around $300 million.

Bichette spent the first seven years of his career with the Toronto Blue Jays. He batted .311 with 18 home runs and 94 RBI in 139 games for the team in 2025.
