A man is now facing homicide charges after a deadly horse and buggy crash in Lancaster County on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers said a Dodge Caravan struck the rear of a horse and buggy in the 4000 block of Strasburg Road/Route 741 near Hoover Road in Salisbury around 1:30 p.m. Victim identifiedAccording to police, the operator of the buggy, a 65-year-old woman, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.The Lancaster County Coroner’s office identified the woman as Mary Ruth Stoltzfus of Paradise, Lancaster County. Upon investigating, police determined Miller was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash. Miller was taken into custody at the scene. A man is now facing homicide charges after a deadly horse and buggy crash in Lancaster County on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said a Dodge Caravan struck the rear of a horse and buggy in the 4000 block of Strasburg Road/Route 741 near Hoover Road in Salisbury around 1:30 p.m.
Victim identified
According to police, the operator of the buggy, a 65-year-old woman, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

According to state police, the driver of the Dodge Caravan was identified as Danial Miller, 33, of Mertztown, Berks County.
Upon investigating, police determined Miller was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash.
