Italy will host the Winter Olympics in 2026, and it’s the only country that will boast a hockey team that doesn’t feature any players currently on an NHL roster. Every other squad has revealed its lineup, and we now know which NHL franchises will be sending the most players to the competition in February.

These are the NHL teams that boast the highest number of Olympians in 2026

The arena where men’s hockey games will be played during the Winter Olympics in Italy has been a hot topic of conversation in the lead-up to the event thanks to construction delays and a strange issue with the size of the rink. However, all signs point to the venue being (largely) operational when things get underway in Milan on February 11th.

There will be 12 teams competing in the tournament that will feature the long-awaited return of the NHL players who haven’t competed in the Winter Olympics since 2014.

On Thursday, Slovakia released its roster and officially solidified the list of NHL talent that will be representing their country at the Olympics. Every franchise will be sending at least one guy, and here’s a look at the clubs with the most players suiting up.
