It’s no secret that the Boston Celtics are defying preseason expectations. Joe Mazzulla’s team has emerged as one of the league’s best stories during the opening months of the season and currently sits third in the Eastern Conference. A team that was previously expected to challenge for a spot in the play-in tournament now looks like a roster capable of making a push for the Eastern Conference Finals.
However, if the Celtics are going to make the most of what was supposed to be a gap year, they will likely need some additional depth at the point guard position. HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto has recently reported that Boston is among a handful of teams to have previously registered interest in Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers.

With that in mind, Adam Taylor and Billy Calabrese of the “Celtics Chronicle” podcast recently released an episode where they dove deep into what Zubac could bring to Boston’s rotation. The duo also explored the difficulties in making a trade work, and which players would make the most sense as part of a trade package.
