It’s a good news/bad news situation as we prepare for the return of Saturday Night Live. There’s no new episode of the iconic comedy series tonight (January 10), but we now know the first three hosts of 2026.

The first new episode of 2026 features the SNL hosting debut of Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard. The actor behind Mike Wheeler will be joined by musical guest A$AP Rocky. Finn will be joined by two more first-timers as One Battle After Another standout Teyana Taylor and Alexander Skarsgård will take the reins for the following two episodes, with musical guests Geese and Cardi B, respectively.

We know the next three hosts, but when will Saturday Night Live return with new episodes? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is SNL New Tonight (January 10)?

Nope. NBC is reairing the November 8, 2025, episode hosted by Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser with musical guest sombr.

When Does Saturday Night Live Return With New Episodes in 2026?

Next week! On January 17, Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard will make his SNL hosting debut with musical guest A$AP Rocky.
