MISSOULA, Mont. — Hundreds of protesters gathered on the Beartracks Bridge in Missoula on Sunday evening for a candlelight vigil to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The demonstration was held in response to the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old U.S. citizen and mother of three, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 during a federal immigration enforcement operation.

Good’s death has sparked nationwide protests and intense debate over the use of force by immigration authorities.

The vigil in Missoula was part of nationwide protests dubbed ICE Out For Good Weekend of Action.

Attendees remained peaceful, and Missoulians held signs to honor people who have been killed by ICE agents.
