DENVER — A third member of the Denver Nuggets has earned Western Conference Player of the Week honors this season.

The NBA announced that Nuggets forward Peyton Watson has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. It’s the first such honor of Watson’s career.

Watson is the third Nuggets player to win the award this season, joining Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokić. Watson is the 20th different Nugget in franchise history to be named Player of the Week.

During the week, Watson averaged 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.8 blocks in 38.7 minutes while shooting 50% from the field and 70% from three.
