Chelsea are a club who refuse to stay out of the headlines, and that has been evident this season.
In recent weeks, several players have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge, for example.
At the end of December, it was claimed that Chelsea were interested in Antoine Semenyo before swiftly withdrawing from the race for his signature.
Chelsea could still sign a new attacker after cooling their interest in Antoine Semenyo. Who would you target, or are you content with Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens?

Of course, the biggest story to come out of the club this term is Enzo Maresca’s exit.

On New Year’s Day, Chelsea’s official club website announced that they had “parted company” with Maresca.
Reports suggest that Maresca offered his resignation and Chelsea accepted it. The whole situation caught Real Madrid and Germany legend Toni Kroos by surprise.
When it was put to him that Maresca and Ruben Amorim are now without clubs after winning the Premier League Manager of the Month awards for October and November on Einfach mal Luppen, Kroos said: “I have to say, though, Chelsea wasn’t on my radar.
“I mean, they actually picked up the most points of all Premier League teams in November — however you want to phrase that. That surprised me as well, because they had also won the Club World Cup back in the summer. I found that surprising.”

Following Maresca’s departure, Chelsea have turned to Liam Rosenior, snatching the 41-year-old away from sister club Strasbourg.
Kroos has always been a very outspoken individual, so it would be interesting to hear his thoughts on that appointment.

In an ideal world, Maresca would have stayed at Chelsea. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and he enjoyed a lot of success there last season after winning the Club World Cup and Conference League trophies.
Yet his decision to leave Stamford Bridge may not end up being a bad career move. It is being reported that Maresca is highly thought of at Real Madrid and could be in contention for the manager’s job there if Alvaro Arbeloa leaves at the end of the campaign.
Last year, there was also talk about Juventus being admirers of their former player, so Turin could also be a possible destination for him. There is no doubt that Maresca will get another gig at the elite level.
