A man is dead and a woman was taken to the hospital after fire broke out inside a Pittsburgh home.The fire was reported a little before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 6600 block of Apple Street in the city’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood.Responding firefighters found the man in a second-floor bedroom and took him out a window and down a ladder.He later died at the scene.A woman, who the battalion chief described as the man’s wife, was taken to the hospital.Fire investigators are now working to determine the cause of the fire.This is a developing story. A man is dead and a woman was taken to the hospital after fire broke out inside a Pittsburgh home.
The fire was reported a little before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 6600 block of Apple Street in the city’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood.
