Former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne might not become the next Paige Spiranac, but make no mistake, she has the golf community buzzing this week.
Dunne, 23, became a household name at LSU due to her gymnastics career and her social media brand. She currently has over 13.2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, which is a big reason why brands like Vuori are more than happy to work with her.

With that said, Dunne seems to be taking a break from her usual activities so she can work on her golf swing. Claire Rogers of GOLF.com shared a video of Dunne’s swing on social media this week.
In just 24 hours, the video of Dunne’s golf swing received over 564,000 views and countless comments.

“Her current swing is all over the place, but shes a natural athlete and even with whacking the ground (what looks like maybe 1/2 a foot before the ball…) she got some distance on that one,” one fan replied.

“Don’t do it Livvy. Nobody gets good at golf, they get better until it drives them insane,” a second fan commented.
“I mean, she’s a top athlete in her respective sport so yes she can get good. But she cannot get to a pro level in golf,” another fan said.
“Great speed. Just needs control,” a social media user said.
What’s next for Livvy Dunne?
Dunne previously told Maxim that she doesn’t want to be considered an “influencer.” Her preference is to be referred to as a former athlete and model. She’ll definitely get her wish considering she has been featured in every issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for the past three years.

“Olivia Dunne’s why goes far beyond the floor and bars—it’s about changing the game for athletes everywhere. She was one of the first to leverage the power of name, image and likeness deals, building a brand that’s both financially successful and rooted in showing the real Livvy,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said. “She’s not just a social media sensation; she’s a pioneering force who has created opportunities for herself and, by extension, countless other athletes by demonstrating how to navigate the intersection of sports, business and digital influence.”
It wouldn’t shock us at all to see Dunne in the 2026 edition of SI Swimsuit this May.
