Love Island: All Stars is back. Filming was delayed for five days after the villa was evacuated due to the South African wildfires near Cape Town. “Severe fires have hit South Africa’s Western and Eastern Cape regions, with strong winds and high temperatures worsening conditions,” ITV reported. “Emergency services said last week that progress had been made in containing the fires.” This was one of the first times the series (and its spin-offs) experienced a production delay; the 2020 main series season was postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fan-favorite show returns to ITV on Thursday, January 15, in the U.K., and to Peacock on Saturday, January 17, in the United States; the show was originally set to premiere on January 12. Hosted by Maya Jama, twelve former U.K. Islanders return to the Villa for another chance at love and £50,000, with a few bombshells on the way to challenge some happy couples by pulling a few hotties over for a chat.
