A powerful community event is underway in downtown Bellefontaine, aiming to turn stigma into strength—one window at a time.
“Windows of Awareness” is a public art display and fundraiser designed to spark conversations about mental health and addiction.
Organized in partnership with Recovery Zone, the initiative features creative, decorated windows installed throughout downtown Bellefontaine, each offering a message of hope, healing, and awareness.
The windows will be on display through August 1st, and the public is invited to vote for their favorites—one dollar per vote, with all proceeds supporting Recovery Zone’s peer support program.
It all leads up to a finale cookout and live window auction on Saturday, August 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Recovery Zone, located at 440 South St. Paris Street in Bellefontaine.
