Wolverines could return to Four Corners region

DENVER, N.M. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife are working to help wolverines make a comeback in the state.

Wolverines, native to Colorado, have not been seen there since the early 1900s.

Officials plan to release wolverines in three mountain ranges. This includes the San Juan Mountains in southern Colorado.
