The Onondaga County Water Authority has fixed the transmission main that caused the multiple week-long water conservation in multiple towns in Central New York. OCWA is now in the process of disinfecting the pipe. From there, they will then begin refilling it.
The mandatory water conservation is still in place for those affected. This will stay the case until the pipe is fully refilled and pressurized, OCWA said.
