The Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Collier County Sheriff’s Office are responding to an active scene on Bonita Beach Road.LCSO confirms this incident involved one adult female barricaded subject. Multiple units to include Crisis Negotiation Team, Special Operations Unit, Patrol, Mobile Command, and several assets were on scene to assist.LCSO has one person in custody related to this incident. Their Major Crimes Unit is on scene investigating and the investigation remains active.CCSO told Gulf Coast News that there was a disturbance involving a female at a pizza shop on Bonita Beach Road. They said that the scene was turned over to LCSO. LCSO said that there were shots in the area, and that this is connected to the disturbance that CCSO responded to. LCSO also said that they have a helicopter and drones in the area.
