A person has died after being hit by a car in Millcreek

SALT LAKE CITY — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck Sunday night near  3900 S between 1200 and 1100 E in the Millcreek area. 

According to police, the pedestrian wasn’t in the crosswalk and was transported to the local hospital in critical condition. 

Traffic on 3900 S is currently shut down and the police don’t know when it will reopen.
