Ilsa’s trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising was revealed at CyGames Cup 2026. She’s set to release as the next DLC character on February 10, 2026 for $7.99.
She’s known as the “Demon Sergeant” due to being an intense drill sergeant. Though it’s said that she’s scared of being hated, she’s even more afraid of her comrades needlessly dying, so she holds nothing back when shouting down her platoons.
During gameplay, Ilsa wields the the seal weapon known as the Guns of Arbitration, Nybeth. This seems to give Ilsa access to powerful zoning options.
One of Ilsa’s attacks has her firing a beam projectile. This attack is seemingly capable of traveling a full screen’s distance, but will clash with other projectiles.
She also appears to have another attack that looks like it functions like a ranged “Rekka,” but it has Ilsa traveling backwards. This move is noteworthy for being especially safe from punishes.
Within the trailer, we can see just how much of an intense drill sergeant she is as she’s constantly pushing her opponent to do better than what they’re showing as she beats them into a pulp.
