School officials are asking anyone who thinks they have been exposed to stay home from class, work and public areas. Measles is contagious for days before the rash appears.

Anyone on campus who may have been exposed is asked to call Thrive Wellness Center at 864-622-6078 before visiting in person to prevent further spread or contact your personal health care provider.

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY

Over the weekend, Clemson University announced the South Carolina Department of Public Health informed officials of the case. That person has since entered quarantine.

The most recent data from Student Health Services shows nearly 98% of main campus students have provided proof of immunity, according to the university.
