Ross Hodge knew that West Virginia would be able to provide impressive facilities.

But perhaps not to the degree of the Mountaineers practice facility.

Hodge said that he hadn’t seen the facility, which was opened in 2012, until he first came to town for the interview. But immediately it stood out to him for a lot of reasons.

“I was amazed at the vision that they had when they built it. To be as forward-thinking that when you walk into it, it still looks like it’s brand new,” he said.

The $24.1 million facility is still impressive today, according to Hodge.  “It still looks as modern as anyone else’s that are being built, you know, right now,” he said.

At 64,000 square feet, the practice facility features gymnasiums, locker rooms, a weight room, an athletic training room, a theater, and more.
