Rick Springfield offered some blunt — and NSFW — advice to Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman amid the news that they’ve finalized their divorce.
TMZ caught up with the “Jessie’s Girl” singer, 76, at LAX on Monday, January 19 for a chat as he walked through the airport.
The singer had a lot to say about his original home country, Australia, including eating a lot of Vegemite to remember his roots. That’s when the conversation turned to Australia’s previous hot couple, Kidman and Urban. The star was asked how he felt about them splitting up but admitted that he’s not familiar enough with them to comment.

However, that didn’t stop him from offering some very rock ’n’ roll advice to the former couple now that they’re in their new, single eras.
“Get laid,” Springfield said with a smile.
Indeed, the Examiner previously reported that a source believes Kidman, 58, may be ready to start dating soon after surprising the world with news in September that her and Urban, 58, were ending their marriage.
“Nicole is open to that eventually, but there’s no hurry, and she won’t put pressure on herself. Her attitude is when it happens, it happens. She hasn’t given up on love by any means,” the source said.

Meanwhile, it seems Urban may still be grieving the marriage.
“He’s running on empty,” an insider previously told Examiner. “He’s acting like a lost soul, and there’s concern he’s in an emotional free fall without Nicole by his side.”
The famous couple was married for 19 years. Meanwhile, Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.
