Hundreds gather in DTLA for nationwide 'Free America Walkout'

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Hundreds of protesters gathered in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon as part of the nationwide “Free America Walkout” to mark the start of President Trump’s second term.

This is expected to be the second major protest of the Trump Administration since the start of the year. The first protest called for an end to ICE raids.

Organizers of the “Free America Walkout” urged people to join them in protest of what they call fascism, the recent raids, and troops occupying cities.

While some are unhappy, the president is calling his second term a big success.

This is a breaking news story. More details will be added as more information becomes available.
