FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne City Utilities says a section of Broadway is closed Friday morning as crews work to repair a water main break during bitter cold conditions.
The department says crews are repairing a water main on Broadway, between Cottage and Home Avenues, north of Bluffton Road.

That section of Broadway is expected to be closed for four to six hours, City Utilities says.
It comes as dangerously cold wind chills are expected to plummet as low as -15 degrees throughout the day, with some rural areas dropping to -25 degrees or lower.
