Warming station to open at Civic Center Saturday

Ruston residents battling Winter Storm Fern will be able to get warm at the Civic Center Saturday afternoon.

The Lincoln Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness released the following announcement this morning:

“Lincoln Parish Homeland Security will open a WARMING STATION ONLY at the Ruston Civic Center today at 2 p.m. The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office will provide security at the facility.

Please enter from the north side of the Civic Center.”
