The Dolphins found their new offensive coordinator from within their coaching ranks.

Miami is expected to promote senior passing game coordinator Bobby Slowik to be its next offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Saturday afternoon.

Slowik, 38, joined the Dolphins in the 2025 offseason after he served the previous two seasons as the Houston Texans offensive coordinator.

During his time as the OC in Houston, Slowik helped Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud to a stellar rookie season in 2023, leading to an AFC South division title, a Divisional Round appearance and an Offensive Rookie of the Year award for Stroud. Slowik called plays for a top-12 overall unit and seventh-ranked passing offense in 2023.
