KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – History will be made this fall in Kansas City when the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) plays its first-ever match at CPKC Stadium.
USWNT announced the match is set for Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. with the opponent yet to be announced.
“I’m looking forward to my first visit to the stadium and to an amazing atmosphere for the players that the Kansas City fans always bring,” said USWNT head coach Emma Hayes.
The match will be broadcast on TNT, TruTV, HBO Max in English and on Westwood One Sports Radio. Universo and Peacock will air the game in Spanish.
“We’re incredibly honored to welcome the U.S. Women’s National Team to CPKC Stadium for the first time in history,” said Angie and Chris Long, co-owners of the Kansas City Current. “Hosting the best U.S. players and this elite USWNT staff in this state-of-the-art venue represents an incredibly special moment in the history of all women’s sports.”
Presale tickets will be available July 29 at 10 a.m. – Aug. 1 at 8 a.m.
KC Current season ticket holders and Current Club Members have a dedicated presale beginning on July 30 at 10 a.m.
Fans can subscribe to emails for free and will receive early access to tickets on July 31 at 10 a.m.
Tickets go on sale to the public Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.
