There’s also the possibility of further information and news for Marathon, the next big game from Bungie. It’s due out on 5th March 2026 as a multi-platform release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Other contenders — at least from a first-party perspective — include a Firesprite game, the two MMO Horizon projects, whatever Media Molecule has in the works, and Fairgames. History would suggest the State of Play will only feature a few PlayStation Studios announcements — these aren’t the PlayStation Showcase blowouts of five years ago anymore.
