All parents know the struggle of trying to corral a young child and get them ready for bed. That’s just as true for animal parents as it is for human parents.

Just take the gorgeous snow leopard mama in this video, for instance. She is trying her best to get her cub settled and go to sleep, but her energetic little baby simply refuses to do so.

As this video shows, the snow leopard mama is ready to literally hit the hay, but her rambunctious little cub has other plans.

Time and time again, the adorable and yet clearly mischievous little cub threatened to sneak away from their crate, only for their mama to pull them back in.

Honestly, this video plays like a scene out of a comedy movie, LOL. It’s not just the way that the snow leopard mama keeps on grabbing her cub that is so funny, but also the way that the little critter keeps stumbling out of the crate.

Their tiny legs can barely make it over the edge of the crate, so they end up falling over each time they make it out. It’s as ridiculously funny as it is cute!

Eventually, the mom has had enough and just lets her cub wander away, at which point a caption plays over the footage that says, “I give up.” Hey, we don’t blame you, mama! Your adorable little cub is definitely a handful, LOL.

According to this other video, that snow leopard mama goes by the name of Nubra. She is a first-time mom, and her baby is the first-ever snow leopard cub born at the Chester Zoo.

As of this writing, this precious little cub does not have a name and is only six weeks old. As such, they are still a little young to leave the den, but as this video notes, they are quickly growing, getting a little stronger, bigger, and more confident each day.

It is possible that this fluffy ball of rambunctious cuteness could make their exhibit debut very soon. And when they do, we are sure that it will be a real treat for all the visitors at the Chester Zoo.

But until then, we will just have to continue enjoying this adorable footage of this cub and their mama.
